Pane Sedláčku,
Od samého počátku budování socialismu v naší vlasti
se našli takoví lidé, kteří tomuto dílu nepřáli. Byli jsme
té zásady, že je třeba trpělivě vychovávat a nechat
každému možnost se přesvědčit. Výsledkem je, že celému
národu je cíl socialismu vlastní a plně pro uskutečnění
pracuje a žije.
Přesto se našla skupinka zaprodanců, kteří pod různými
hesly o demokracii špiní naši společnou práci, naší vlast.
Dovolávají se demokracie kapitalistických států a ve svém
tak zvaném prohlášení "Charta 77" a svým podpisem dávají
najevo svůj protisocialistický a protispolečenský postoj.
Jedním z podpisujících jste i Vy.
K tomu Vám vyslovujeme náš názor: Chcete-li západní demo-
kracii, využijte nabídky rakouského kancléře, naše demo-
kracie Vám to umožní. My se bez Vás obejdeme.

Mr Sedlacek,
From the beginning of our building socialism in our country,
there have been some people who have not been supporting
these efforts. It has been our rule to patiently educate and give
people a chance to be convinced. The result of our effort is that
our nation values socialism and lives and works toward its
realization. Despite these efforts there has been a group of traitors
who use different slogans about democracy to blemish our common work
and our country. They are calling to the democracies of capitalist
countries and with their statement so called "Charter 77" and with
their signature they are indicating their antisocialist and
anti-society position. You are one of the people who provided
a signature. To this fact we express our opinion: If you want
western democracy, take advantage of the offer by the Austrian
Chancellor; our democracy will make it possible for you.
We will be fine without you.
